FIND YOUR WINGS

Graphic Design Technology is a two-year AAS Degree program that is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment and advancement in the field of graphic design. Students in this program have the option to concentrate on Print and Media Design or Virtual and Augmented Reality XR Design.

Students receive instruction in the design and execution of illustrations, typography, layouts, color theory, industry specific production, rendering, digital imaging, logo design, and creative principles necessary for publication design, mass distribution, and other forms of visual communications. The XR concentration includes 3D modeling, game design, augmented reality, and virtual reality technologies.

To meet graduation requirements for this program, students must successfully complete the specified courses listed below with a “C” average (GPA of 2.00) or better. A grade of “C” or higher is required in each CAT and ENG course to progress in the program.
