In this one-year certificate program, students learn the skills required in the construction industry. Students actually build a building while learning skills in carpentry, foundations, framing, roofing, exterior finishing, interior finishing and cabinet making.
Average annual salary ranges from $18,000 starting to $40,000 for an experience worker. Foreman and superintendents salaries range higher. This trade also provides many opportunities for self employment.
