MCC’s two-year program of study in Health-care Data Technology provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to work in today’s hospitals, medical offices, and clinics.  Emphasis is placed on skills needed to become a medical billing clerk or an entry-level medical coder.  Courses must be taken in sequence as outlined.  Any deviation from this outline requires approval from the program coordinator.

Progression: To meet graduation requirements for this program, students must successfully complete the specified courses listed below with a "C" average (grade point average of 2.00) or better.  To progress in the program, a grade of "C" or higher is required in each BOT course, ENG course, and Anatomy & Physiology I, including lab.
