10 Week Course

This welding course, taught by a certified welding instructor, focuses on the basic fundamentals of welding safety, oxy-fuel gas cutting and welding, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), gas tungsten arc welding (TIG), and flux core arc welding. This course will cover basic metal preparation and fitting and is designed to accommodate the hobbyist as well as tradesman.

Class size is limited to 16 participants and enrollment is accepted on a first-come, first-pay basis. 


Classes start February 3rd - April 7th at the Ross Collins Career and Technical Center, Room 103. Classes are every Thursday from 6-10 pm.  Cost is $170 which includes cost of materials.
