Member Services Representative, EMEPA
HSD/GED or equivalent is required. At least two years of experience, which is relevant to utility business, in a customer service/cashier position with public contact is preferred (Cashier experience in a convenience store or retail shipping does not qualify).  Prior experience in consumer accounting systems with a good understanding of bookkeeping/accounting is preferred.  Experience should include handling large sums of cash, communicating with general public/member-consumers, investigate/reconcile data and carrying out on variety of duties.  A good knowledge of English grammar is required to communicate policies, procedures and other information to member-consumers.  Knowledge of billing, collection policies and procedures, service rules and regulations must be acquired within a reasonable time span.  Position is required to perform a variety of mathematical calculations in the completion of duties.  Position utilizes computer terminals, calculators and other standards office equipment in the completion of duties.  Must be able to carry out a variety of activities which requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  Position requires on-going contact with member-consumers under various circumstances which requires tact and diplomacy.  Must be conscientious and trustworthy.  Ability and skills to operate Association’s computer billing and Outage management systems and interpret/create outage cases.  Must be able to perform the activities as listed in the position description.  Activities are performed at a counter, drive-in window, computer terminal and desk.  Sitting walking and standing are normally used in carrying out the assigned duties.  Office environment.  Some travel may be required within and outside of the service territory.  After an offer of employment has been made, a physical and/or drug screening are required.  Applications accepted Monday, October 27, 2014 through Friday, October 31, 2014 at the WIN Job Center.

WTOK is the dominant station in the Meridian, MS DMA and produces over 3 hours of live local high definition newscast per day.
