MARKETING MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Between one-fourth and one-third of the entire civilian workforce in the United States performs marketing activities. Marketing offers great career opportunities in areas such as professional selling, advertising, retail buying, management and wholesaling. Marketing career opportunities also exist in non-business organizations such as hospitals, parks and recreation programs, armed forces and government agencies.

Marketing Technology - Management Emphasis is a field of study for students who aspire to a management position in the near future. This program allows you to apply theories of management to decision-making experiences.

Marketing Technology - Real Estate Emphasis meets the needs of the real estate profession and related industries. The real estate courses provide specialized training for careers in real estate brokerage, financial institutions, appraisal, corporations and various government agencies. (Evening only)

TO EARN LOCAL ARTICULATION CREDIT IN THE MARKETING MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM, A STUDENT MUST:

  1. Complete these high school courses with a grade of "A" or "B"
                    Marketing I
                    Marketing II
  2. Fill out a Local Articulation Application form with all the appropriate signatures and return it to the MCC vocational advisor.
  3. Be a registered full-time student in good standing in MCC’s Marketing Management Technology Program. ("Full-time" means taking at least 12 semester hours.)
  4. Complete the next higher sequential course in the program with a grade of "C" or better.
