The Meridian/Lauderdale County Tech Prep Consortium consists of the following two school districts and the community college:

Meridian Community College (MCC)

Meridian Separate School District

Lauderdale County School District

The Lauderdale County School District is comprised of four High Schools:

Clarkdale

Northeast Lauderdale

Southeast Lauderdale

West Lauderdale

The Meridian/Lauderdale County Tech Prep Consortium strives to:

• develop a highly skilled and competitive work force,
• improve the academic and technical competence of all students,
• insure that students possess career readiness and career decision-making skills,
• develop a student's foundation and adaptive skills for success on the job and in life,
• and insure a successful transition from secondary to postsecondary educational programs and/or workforce.

The participating secondary schools work very closely with Meridian Community College to articulate their two-year career and technical programs with the postsecondary occupational education programs.
