MCC welcomes and values students from other countries. All admission requirements must be completed two months prior to the beginning of the semester of interest to allow time for forms required by the immigration and Naturalization Service of the United States Department of Justice to be completed and approved. All forms and correspondence with the college must be written in English.
The international student seeking admission to MCC must submit these documents:
- An MCC Application for Admission.
- A final transcript of high school work and/or transcripts from all colleges attended.
- Evidence of proficiency in the English language. Proficiency may be demonstrated by an American College Test (ACT) composite score of 18 or a minimum score of 500 on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
- An affidavit reflecting evidence of sufficient financial means to cover college and personal expenditures while in attendance. The financial affidavit must be certified by a bank official or representative of another financial agency.
International students attending Meridian Community College will be expected to purchase a college-approved health insurance policy and enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours each semester.
