From School Reports

The Meridian Community College soccer program continued to add more players to its 2012 signing class. The three newest players added to the team are three local players from West Lauderdale High School. The Eagles announced the addition of Kaitlin Polk, Ashlyn Pope, and Blake Harden to its 2012 signing class. All three players will look to make a huge difference in 2012.

"We take pride in our local talent and we are very proud that we could add three very gifted players to our team for next season," said MCC head coach Alex George. "We are excited about them signing with their local community college and these are three great student-athletes."

Polk started at keeper for the Lady Knights this past season and Pope saw action at striker for West Lauderdale. Harden started at striker for the Knights and will look to help the Eagles on offense this fall.
