Get ready to make tracks when the College hosts its annual Back to School Road Trip '02 Saturday, Aug. 3 at Bonita Lakes Mall.
This event, which is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will allow shoppers the chance to learn more about the College as well as register for fall classes, meet members of the soccer teams, check out MCC educational programs, discover financial aid opportunities and register for prizes.
There will be special presentations at the mall's center court including the MCC Jazz Improv performance from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Seventy-four students will receive their diplomas and certificates Sunday, Aug. 4, when the College hosts its summer commencement.
The program gets under way at 3 p.m.
Keynote speaker will be Greg Snowden, Mississippi House of Representatives member for the 83rd district, which includes Lauderdale County. Rep. Snowden has served with the state legislature since for two years. He serves on the conservation and water resources, judiciary B, juvenile justice and municipalities committees.
A member of Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha of Alabama, he is also affiliated with the Mississippi Bar, the Florida Bar, the Meridian Little Theatre, the Downtown Meridian Optimist Club and the East Mississippi Business Development Corporation.
Rep. Snowden, who earned his degrees from the University of Alabama and Vanderbilt University, is a native of Meridian.
