General Directions

This course is designed to be completed in one semester. The suggested time schedule is shown on the "test schedule link". If you find you are falling behind and will not finish the required material by the end of the semester, you should make arrangements to spend extra time either in the classroom or the Student Success Center.

If, at the end of the semester, you have not completed the required work, a grade of 0 will be assigned for each non-completed chapter. Your semester grade will then be calculated according to the grading scale for this course.

For each required chapter:

1. Study the required sections. Use the "checklist " for each chapter and ask for help. 
2. Take the Chapter Test at the end of the chapter and check your own paper.
3. Re-study the sections for any problems you did not work correctly on the textbook Chapter Test.
4. Turn in your "checklist" and your homework assignments when you feel you are prepared to "test out" of the chapter.  This work will be returned to you at the end of the semester before you take the final exam.
5. If you do not obtain a test score of at least 70 on the first test you will be required to restudy the chapter before retesting.  The second test will be free response.
