Meridian Community College is a member of the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC), which provides internet-based courses statewide. MSVCC is a consortium of Mississippi's community colleges.

Through the MSVCC, students may take courses from one of the other community colleges while getting support services from MCC.

An MCC student can take (pull) a course from one of the other community colleges if the course is not offered that term either online or on-campus and as long as the course is listed in the course catalog. Pulled courses must receive approval from the respective Dean and Division Chair. As the local or host college, MCC provides on-campus support with student services, including but not limited to advisement and counseling, financial aid, and learning resources.

The remote college provides the course and instruction while the local college awards the credit for the course.

MSVCC Student Profile
If you are an MCC student registered for an MSVCC/MCC online course, you may view your student profile by clicking here. Your student profile will provide you with course information such as: syllabus, textbook information, required course materials, grading policy, and much more. Since online attendance is based on logging into the course site, MCC highly recommends that all MSVCC/MCC students review their student profile prior to the first day of class. Once you log into the course site, you will be charged according to MCC policy.
